Sprite's continued display of respect and love for rap music and other facets of hip-hop has made the brand the unofficial soft drink beverage of choice for fans of the culture worldwide. Looking to add to its illustrious history of identifying and celebrating rising stars in hip-hop, Sprite has honored former XXL Freshmen Logic, Kyle and Madeintyo with their own Sprite cans in conjunction with the brand's newest promotional campaign, The Fresh Faces Series.

In addition to the former XXL Freshmen, The Fresh Faces Series also includes producer Wondagurl and comedian Jay Versace. The Sprite Fresh Faces Series, with illustrated 16-ounce cans and 20-ounce bottles featuring this year's respective honorees, is just the latest in a string of campaigns by the brand that is emblematic of its embrace of hip-hop and rap artists, particularly former XXL Freshmen Vince Staples, Vic Mensa, Kamaiyah, Kap G and J. Cole who have all been recognized by Sprite for their creative excellence and cultural contributions.

To introduce The Fresh Face Series, Sprite debuted a 30-second commercial starring Jay Versace, which premiered during the 2018 BET Awards on Sun., June 24. Rap fans will be able to buy the 16-ounce cans and 20-ounce bottles featuring Logic, Kyle, Madeintyo, Wondagurl and Jay Versace at leading retailers until Sept. 2, or while supplies last.

The Sprite Fresh Faces Series allows fans to collect bottles and cans and access custom live and animated video and interactive social content through

its sip&scan™ technology via www.sprite.com by using their mobile phone. The campaign also featured live performances and activations during this year’s BET Experience in Los Angeles, including sets from some of the honorees.
