On Friday (March 16) it was revealed that Logic and his wife Jessica Andrea were going their separate ways after two years of marriage. Today (March 20), a lengthy joint statement was published to Logic's social media accounts addressing their breakup.

“After two years of marriage, we have come to the loving conclusion that we are much better as friends. As entertainers, we have made every aspect of our lives public, yet we would appreciate your respect and privacy on this issue,” the statement reads.

The former couple continued to set the record straight as rumors of cheating ran rampant with fans quickly searching for a culprit to blame. "It’s very simple: it just didn’t work out. There is no anger involved. No fighting, no cheating, no nothing," the statement continues. "We love each other and will continue to support each other for the rest of our lives."

Logic and Jessica concluded their thoughts by revealing that even though this is the start of a new chapter by going their separate ways, they still have love for each other. "There will be no displays of anger or hatred that tear people apart; the public will not be made to choose sides. There are no sides, there is just us. Two people who loved each other in marriage and will continue to love each other for the rest of our lives."

The comforting words will be welcome to fans' ears, who have been responding in earnest on social media since the announcement. Andrea was featured on the cover of Logic's Bobby Tarantino II mixtape, which premiered at No .1 on the Billboard 200 to begin the week (March 18), notching the Def Jam artist his second chart-topping project after Everbody achieved No. 1 status back in May 2017.
