Louisiana Absentee Ballot Has A Discrepancy
My girlfriend lives in Youngsville, but she is currently out-of-town for work. She went online to request an absentee ballot for this election, and when she received it I was helping her fill it out (explaining the amendments, etc).
Halfway through the voting process (marking the circles to indicate her choice), she noticed a discrepancy in the instructions.
The ballot came with a cover letter, explaining the process of voting, and instructing the voter to use a pencil or a black or blue pen.
After she started to vote (mark the ballot), she noticed at the top of the ballot itself, the instructions said "Use ONLY a pencil to mark your ballot".
Guess who started by using a pen?
