According to posts circulating on social media, "Jazzy" Jeff Leon attended a Chris Ardoin concert in Baton Rouge late Friday evening (Aug. 11). However, his journey took an unexpected turn when he reportedly stopped at a gas station in Baton Rouge for fuel.

Unfortunately, communication from him was cut off at that point and he still hasn't returned home, prompting increasing concerns among those who know and care about him.

Latasha Leon, Jeff's wife, took to social media early Sunday, August 13th, to organize a search party based in Henderson. In a heartfelt message, she expressed her determination to find her missing husband. The group was set to convene at Miss Mamie's Casino in Henderson around 9:30 to 10:00 AM, with plans to search extensively across East Baton Rouge Parish, particularly the basin and its surrounding areas. Latasha Leon urged anyone who could lend assistance to join the search, emphasizing the value of collective efforts in this time of crisis.
