DJ Digital Snags Louisiana Favorites for Josh and Jase on a #RousesRun

It's been about a month since Josh and Jase visited us, but they miss us already.

They need a good Louisiana care package to pump some flavor into that British food. We asked listeners to share their ideas for local favorites. We got 500 comments on social media with your suggestions, so I headed over to Rouses Market to do my best:

Of course, we got Slap Ya Mama (no moms were harmed in the production of this; they'll understand when they taste it). Next was Cajun Ninja. I love how Rouses makes it easy to find local products with their purple "Local Like Us" labels on the shelves.

I grabbed some Louisiana Crawfish Shrimp and Crab Boil seasoning to spice up their fish 'n' chips and some breakfast blend coffee for that front-porch sitting. We kept it real with Blue Plate Real Mayonnaise and Boosie Rap Snacks — Louisiana Heat flavor, of course. It's the most Louisiana snack ever!
