New Orleans-born rapper Juvenile, best known for his smash hit "Back That Azz Up," found himself in a tense standoff with American Airlines. The confrontation went down on a flight headed to Dallas, Texas, where Juvenile was asked to vacate his first-class seat and move to coach, a request that led to a heated exchange.

Juvenile, whose real name is Terius Gray, captured the entire ordeal on video, sharing the experience with his fans in real time. The rapper, clearly frustrated, can be heard protesting, "I'm a celebrity," as airline employees attempted to move him from his assigned first-class seat. His wife, who was traveling with him, also defended their position, explaining to the flight attendants that they were sitting in the seats they had been assigned.

The situation escalated further when Juvenile took to Instagram Live, voicing his anger and frustration in an NSFW rant. "I'm telling you this is going to be repercussions," he warned. "I'm not going to let y'all disrespect me like that. I'm not going to let y'all choose me out of all the people on the plane and disrespect me." Despite their protests, the rapper and his wife ultimately decided to leave the plane, with Juvenile airing his grievances over the airline's actions.

Juvenile later boarded a different flight with another airline to ensure he made it to his scheduled performance in Fort Worth, Texas, that evening. Still fuming from the experience, the rapper posted further messages on social media, criticizing American Airlines. "F*** American Airlines, all the money I done spent with you bitches... F*** y’all. I feel played," he vented.

In response to the incident, American Airlines issued a statement to TMZ, acknowledging the situation and offering an apology. "American Airlines strives to provide a positive experience to every traveler, and we apologize for [Juvenile]'s recent experience with us. An unplanned change in aircraft type affected his seat assignment, and we regret he wasn't notified prior to boarding. A member of our team has spoken with [Juvenile] personally to resolve the situation."

As Juvenile continued his current tour, this experience was a setback, but he made it to his destination, and as they say in the industry, the show must go on.
