LPD Arrests Two Suspects After Shots Fired, Chase To St. Landry Parish

DEVELOPING: Two arrests were made after shots were fired this afternoon along the Evangeline Thruway near I-10. Lafayette Police Department Sergeant Paul Mouton says officers were in the area of Castille and the Evangeline Thruway when they heard gunshots. Officers chased a suspect vehicle north on I-49 into St. Landry Parish where two suspects were detailed. At this point, there is no word on injuries or victims at this time.
