As of now, when students return to the campus of LSU in the summer and fall, they will not be required to show proof that they are vaccinated for COVID.

The university highly recommends that students get the covid vaccine, but they are not going to require it for admission.

Some who work on campus, like Robert Mann, would like to see all students vaccinated prior to stepping foot on campus.

In a recent Tweet, Mann alludes to the idea that a "revolt" is brewing when it comes to requiring students to be vaccinated. When he says that a revolt is brewing at LSU, I assume that he is speaking amongst the staff on campus.

The LSU professor has publicly questioned why students and staff members would be crammed into classrooms without a required vaccination.

Some universities are requiring that students get their COVID vaccine prior to returning, while others like LSU and UL-Lafayette are not making it mandatory.
