Once again, the LSU Tigers are the top-ranked team in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll, which was released on Sunday, while the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns receive enough love to put them in the top 30.

It's the sixth-straight week LSU, who defeated Texas A&M last week, 50-7, in the 2019 regular-season finale for both teams, is ranked number one in the AP Poll.

The Tigers, who are now 12-0 on the season, return to action on Saturday, when they take on the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta, Georgia.

LSU received 40 of a possible 62 first-place votes in the poll, with Ohio St. receiving 19 and Clemson three.

Ohio St., Clemson, Georgia, and Utah round out the top five.

Oklahoma, Florida, Baylor, Alabama, and Wisconsin are ranked 6-10, respectively.

Appalachian St. is up two spots, to #20 this week.

Meanwhile, in the Coaches Poll, the Louisiana, who has won 10 of their last 11 games, and are 10-2 on the season, the most single-season triumphs in program history, received 21 votes this week, enough to place them at #29 in that poll.

The Cajuns, who concluded their 2019 regular-season campaign on Saturday at Cajun Field with a 31-30 win over ULM, will square off with Appalachian St. in the Sun Belt Championship Game on Saturday in Boone, North Carolina.
