LSU is ranked #1 in the Coaches and AP top 25 poll, receiving more than double the votes of #2 Ohio State, and considerably more than #3 Clemson.

However, the College Football Playoff Rankings moved LSU (12-0) to #2 last week, and the Tigers remain there this week.

Ohio State (12-0) stands firm at #1, while Clemson (12-0) is #3, and Georgia, LSU's opponent this Saturday in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game, remains #4.

Ohio State battles #10 (#8 in CFB Playoff Rankings) Wisconsin this Saturday for the Big 10 Championship, while Clemson plays #22 (and #23 in CFB rankings) Virginia for the ACC Championship.

Utah comes in at #5, and will play #13 Oregon this Friday night for the PAC-12 Championship.

With a win over the Ducks, the Utes will then root for LSU on Saturday to knock off Georgia, which should open the door for Utah to enter the 4 team College Football Playoff.

However, #6 Oklahoma will have an argument with Utah if the Sooners knock off #9 (#7 in the CFB Playoff Rankings) Baylor in the Big 12 Championship game Saturday morning in Arlington, Texas.

Style points may be the difference between the last team in the final 4, and the first team out.

Appalachian State rises up to #21. Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns play at App State this Saturday for a Sun Belt Conference Championship.

The final College Football Playoff Rankings will come out on Sunday.
