‘Mardi Gras Funk’ Parodies Hit Song ‘Uptown Funk’ [VIDEO]

We are just weeks away from Mardi Gras in Acadiana and you can just feel the excitement in the air. Here is a GREAT parody of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk"—naturally titled "Mardi Gras Funk."

"Uptown Funk" is one of the hottest songs in the country, and everyone—including President Barack Obama—is getting in on the remix fun. This local video was shot in Downtown Lafayette, and most of the footage used in the music video comes from several Mardi Gras parades in the area.

Props to Melissa Stevenson—not only is she on vocals, but she also choreographed the entire music video. We love it!!!
