‘Master of None’ Season 2 Scoots Into May Premiere With First Teaser
The personal nature of Aziz Ansari’s Master of None made it difficult to discern when Season 2 might shoot or premiere, but Dev is finally putting down the pasta, and scooting his way into our hearts. See for yourself, as the first Master of None Season 2 tease promises a May premiere.
Ansari himself debuted the brief promo over Twitter, in the process confirming Season 2 of the critically-acclaimed comedy will premiere on Friday, May 12. The teaser shows little more than Ansari’s Dev and Eric Wareheim’s Arnold scooting around the countryside (we’d guess Italy), though the synopsis at least confirms Dev will be returning to New York before long:
After traveling abroad, Dev (Aziz Ansari) returns to New York to take on challenges in his personal and family life, a new career opportunity, and a complex, developing relationship with someone very meaningful to him.
For the moment, it isn’t entirely clear who from the first season’s cast will return, though certainly Ansari’s real-life parents are a must, along with stars Lena Waithe, Kelvin Yu, and perhaps even Noël Wells.
In the meantime, all episodes of Master of None Season 1 are available to stream on Netflix, while you can watch the trailer below.
