April 2019's new albums have given us some music to vibe to, like Anderson .Paak's Ventura and Tory Lanez's International Fargo. While those chill vibes are still welcome, now it's time to turn up!

The summer is almost here, and some of hip-hop's biggest names are here to provide the soundtrack for those sunny days and long nights out with friends. YG will be dropping his highly-anticipated fourth studio album, 4Real 4Real, plus DJ Khaled's Father of Asahd will arrive, as well as Famous Dex's Momma's Boy.

4Real 4Real was slated to be released as a surprise album this month, but YG ultimately decided to hold off after the passing of his good friend and collaborator, Nipsey Hussle. On April 14, the Bompton rapper debuted the first song off the project at Coachella, "Stop Snitchin'." During his performance, YG had images of both 6ix9ine and SkinnyFromThe9 displayed on the screen behind him, taking aim at both rappers.

Though it was originally set to drop in March, PnB Rock's sophomore effort TrapStar Turnt PopStar will arrive at the top of the month on May 3. Young Nudy and Pi’erre Bourne's collaborative effort Sli'merre drops on May 10. There's much more than that on the way, too.
