Meek Mill Admits He Lost $100,000 to Drake in Ping-Pong Game
Two months ago, Drake surprised the world when he brought out Meek Mill for a performance at his Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour, publicly allowing bygones to be bygones. On the journey to Meek's upcoming album release this Friday, the Philly native has been sharing his truth. During the latest episode of Beats 1, which airs in full today (Nov. 29) Meek admits that he lost $100,000 to Drake in a game of ping-pong.
"We chopped it up onstage and did it out of the love," Meek said during the interview. "But after that we played ping-pong. He beat me out of $100,000. He did some slick Drake shit. He's definetely a finesser."
Elaborating on his three-year-long beef with Drake, the 31-year-old rapper shared that he was going through a rough patch at the time. "I was going through shit at the time. I was caught up," he began. "I was getting high, going through media..public breakups. I've got the biggest rap beef going on, and a lot of people not in my favor. So I'm not even in a good place. I had to revamp myself and just get to the money."
Although Meek lost a great deal of money to the 6 God, hopefully his account will triple with his new album Championships dropping tomorrow (Nov. 30). His 18-track LP will feature guest appearances from Cardi B, Kodak Black and more. Meek is also including a Beyoncé sample from her classic 2003 single "Me, Myself and I."
Meek Mill's entire Beats 1 Radio interview airs today at 4 p.m. EST. In the meantime, check out Meek discuss losing $100,000 to Drake below.
