Meek Mill is going back to jail. The Philadelphia rapper was found guilty of violating his probation in court today (Nov. 6) and sentenced to two to four years, according to TMZ and local CBS reporter Joe Holden.

Meek caught two recent cases—an assault case at a St. Louis airport, followed by a reckless driving arrest in New York City. Meek took a sweet deal for the NYC case and had the assault case dropped, but the Philly judge nonetheless sentenced Meek to a minimum of two years in jail today for violating the probation sentence he got for a 2009 case for weapons and drugs.

"I've been trying to help you since 2009," said Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley during the sentencing. "You basically thumbed your nose at me."

Brinkley was Meek's judge in the original 2009 case, and cited a failed drug test, his violation of travel restrictions and two other arrests as infractions upon his probation. The prosecutor recommended the 30-year-old rapper not get jail time, claiming Meek has been clean since January and has changed as a person since his original crime. But Brinkley didn't care, saying the prosecutor was too new to the case to know that Meek "does what he wants."

In his statement during the hearing, Meek admitted his violations and said a jail sentence would likely end his music career. He also revealed he'd battled a addiction to Percocet and tried not to lead a life of crime. "I may have made a mistake but I never had the intention of disrespecting you," he said.

Meek's lawyer Brian McMonagle says he will appeal the decision.
