Saints star receiver Michael Thomas will not be able to assist Drew Brees in his first game back from injury, as Thomas has been ruled out of the matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The carousel of injuries continues in New Orleans as the Saints will once again be without one of their marquee players in Mike Thomas.

The news doesn't come as much of a shock, as Thomas hadn't practiced at all this week. He has been nursing an ankle injury that has been nagging all year. The last thing the Saints need is to be without Mike Thomas during the playoffs.

With Drew Brees making his first start since his rib and lung injury on Sunday, it would have been ideal for his #1 target to be an outlet against the reigning Super Bowl Champion Chiefs.

The Saints along with the entire #WhoDatNation continue to fight diversity as it comes. Let's just hope the whole team can be healthy and on the same page as the regular season turns into the playoffs.
