Miss Louisiana Makes Top 7 At Miss America Pageant
Miss Louisiana, Laryssa Bonacquisti, fared very well in the Sunday's final Miss America competition. The former Miss Shreveport finished in the top seven out of 51 competitors.
Bonacquisti and her fellow competitors were judged in many different categories for the pageant. This time there were two interview question segments. The first round of questions was a bit more lighthearted. The second round of questions was more of a serious nature.
For her first round question, Bonacquisti was asked to fill in the blank on this question.
I know a lot of people love it but I think 'blank' is totally overrated.
Bonacquisti's answer was rompers. Which I would agree with. Laryssa was eliminated after this round of the competition and did not have to answer a question in the second round.
In addition to continuing her reign as Miss Louisiana, Bonacquisti will also continue working toward her degree at LSU where she is pursuing a degree in Mass Communication.
The Miss America title was won by Miss North Dakota, Cara Mund. Mund was the first contestant to win from North Dakota in the history of the nearly 100-year-old pageant.
