Acadiana has been waiting to find out when Superior Grill will finally open to the public, and the owners have even poked some fun with their sign.

Andrew Lugo told the Advocate that the media tours took place Friday at 2320 Kaliste Saloom Road, and they are continuing to prepare their staff and hire more team members for the opening day.

The opening date was originally planned for sometime in March, but as we all know, that did not happen. The owners are dedicated to making sure everything is perfect before opening their doors for the first time which we can certainly respect.

When Is Superior Grill in Lafayette Opening?

The good news is we now know that mid-July is the official opening date range. It could be the week of the 10th or the 17th, but either way, we can see the margarita machine light at the end of the tunnel.

You won't have to wait too much longer to get your hands on their famous fajitas and chips and salsa. Just driving past the restaurant you can see how much progress has been made on the building itself.

Superior Grill Coming to Lafayette Announced in 2022

It seems like ages ago when word first spread that Superior Grill would be taking over the location previously occupied by Randol's Restaurant.

It didn't take long for folks to start inquiring about when it would open, and we can't blame them. We have always enjoyed our time at the Baton Rouge and New Orleans locations. Soon, Lafayette will be home to the fifth and possibly the most anticipated location.
