Grant Imahara, a trained robotic scientist and host of the TV show "MythBusters" died suddenly following a brain aneurism. A statement from Discovery Networks said:

We are heartbroken to hear this sad news about Grant. He was an important part of our Discovery family and a really wonderful man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

The Hollywood Reporter says Imahara joined the popular Discovery Channel show in its third season and left the show when the original hosts did in 2014. Those old episodes are now streaming on Netflix. In 2016, Imahara was also one of the stars of Netflix's White Rabbit Project which lasted for one season.

Grant Imahara was 49 years old.
