This year, National Pancake Day is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3 and IHOP will be offering a free short-stack of pancakes in an effort to raise money.

Back in 2006, IHOP created the semi-holiday—offering a free short-stack of three buttermilk pancakes in exchange for a charitable donation. IHOP works with the Children's Miracle Network to raise money for pediatric hospital care, and this year the restaurant hopes to pull in $3.5 million.

But in order to get free pancakes, participants must be there between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. at Lafayette area IHOP restaurants:

4000 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy—Lafayette, LA

3230 NE Evangeline Thruway—Lafayette, LA

3006 College Drive—Baton Rouge, LA

3680 Harding Blvd.—Baton Rouge, LA

6875 Siegen Lane—Baton Rouge, LA

The Children's Miracle Network suggests a donation of $5, which will get you a $5 discount off your next IHOP purchase.
