NBA YoungBoy was arrested on Saturday (Feb. 25) for a warrant out in Georgia and now we now why. A shocking video has surfaced of the Baton Rouge rapper manhandling his girlfriend in Waycross, Ga., hours before he was to do a show in Tallahassee, Fla.

TMZ has posted the video, which has been circulating on social media, of NBA YoungBoy slamming his girlfriend on the ground in a hotel hallway. The woman in clip is identified as Jania.

Sources at the hotel told the website that guests complained about the commotion and called the front desk to alert them who then called the police. By the time the cops arrived, NBA YoungBoy and Jania have left the hotel. However, evidence found in their hotel room as well as the incriminating video gave police enough justification to issue a warrant against the rapper.

As we previously reported, police in Tallahassee, Fla., stopped NBA YoungBoy's tour bus and arrested him on an outstanding felony warrant in Georgia that included kidnapping. According to the warrant, the 19-year-old rapper was wanted on charges for allegedly committing assault, weapons violations and kidnapping.

NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was subsequently arrested and sent to jail in Leon County while he waits for a hearing, which is scheduled for Monday (Feb. 26). You can check out his booking information here.

Meanwhile, the rapper's girlfriend, Jania, went on Snapchat to address the video. According to her, she and NBA YoungBoy were only play fighting and denies that she's being abused. She also wants everyone to mind their own business.

The violent clip itself drew hundreds of responses on Twitter. Some people were upset at fans posting #FreeNBAYoungBoy in spite of the disturbing video. Other folks aimed their vitriol at Jania for defending NBA YoungBoy after he allegedly toss her around in a hotel hallway. Clearly, she is in an unhealthy relationship.
