Robert Cook, one of the four members of the popular "never miss a super bowl club" commercial (below), has been in the hospital since Thursday. This is particularly sad for Cook being that he is a Wisconsin native and his Packers are in the Super Bowl. Even though his wife Sarah says,

“He’ll be watching it on TV, no ands, if and buts about it," she said. That said, she added, “He’s depressed. This is sad for him. He doesn’t want to be there. (meaning the hospital)."

The 79 year old has been to all 44 previous Super Bowls as well as the rest of the "Never Miss A Super Bowl" quartet. The full crew consists of members Donald Crisman, Larry Jacobson, Thomas Henschel & Robert Cook who will miss his first Super Bowl on Sunday, ending his streak at 44. This isn't the first member to have to end the streak. There were actually 5 in the group at one point, but one turned 84 and became immobile. The crew used to get their tickets at scalper's prices until about 14 years ago when the NFL caught wind of the crew and started sending them vouchers for tickets at face value. Even though Cook can easily rejoin the crew next season, the "Never Miss A Super Bowl Club" will be down to only 3.  Check out the VISA commercial that spotlighted the crew below.
