Louisiana State Police say four women from New Iberia have been arrested following an investigation into an alleged multi-million dollar automobile insurance fraud scheme in Iberia Parish.
According to the Louisiana State Police Insurance Fraud and Auto Theft Unit, the investigation began after a criminal referral from Timber Creek Insurance Services and the Louisiana Department of Insurance Fraud Division.
Investigators say the case centered around allegedly fraudulent insurance claims tied to a 2025 crash involving a Pelican Waste & Debris garbage truck.
