Saints player Pierre Thomas posted on Facebook that he was giving away an autographed special edition Pink Breast Cancer Awareness football and towel. Many 'Who Dat's' signed up, hoping to win the autographed footballs. The Boudreaux family were the lucky winners to receive the special footballs. Madison, 12, and Gracie, 9 and dad, Horace were excited to collect their winnings, but one thing was missing, their Mother Michelle Boudreaux.

Michelle Schexnayder Boudreaux, a resident of Raceland La., loved the Saints and was a huge fan of Pierre Thomas. Michelle was diagnosed with colon cancer three weeks ago. Unfortunately, she lost her battle with colon cancer and passed away, Sunday morning, October 13. Friends and family got together and plead with Thomas to choose the Boudreaux family to win the cancer awareness footballs. Michelle’s family and friends stated that she would have passed out knowing what Pierre Thomas did for her and her family. While Michelle never met Pierre, he met her through her family. He even took a picture while holding a picture of Michelle. The Who Dat Nation is proud and lucky to have him on their team. Who Dat!
