The owner of Tipitina's and some unnamed developers are planing to build a water park and amphitheater in New Orleans east on the Lakefront.

It will have:

• An outdoor amphitheater that can hold 5,000 people
• Water Slide and zip lines
• A lazy river and splash park
• A two-story, covered boardwalk with shops
• Open Air-Market

This would be a huge boost for New Orleans local economy and the music scene.
