In the weeks since his untimely death, Nipsey Hussle murals have been popping up all across the country. One particular mural in Hartford, Conn. dedicated to the late rapper was recently vandalized by a woman for reasons unknown.

On Saturday (April 27), video started popping up on the internet of the mural, which has since been defaced with a green image of a penis and the letters SK. In the video, the woman people on the scene say is responsible for the vandalization poses in front of the ruined art piece while taking a selfie video.

"She hella disrespected #NipseyHussle mural by spray painting over it and then took a selfie," one person who posted the video to Twitter noted. "Baby girl had action at knocking her out didn't do anything! When are we going to realize that they aren't our allies or associates?"

The woman in the video has since been identified by Web sleuths as Kaitlyn Renee. It is still unclear why the vile act was done.

People have been paying homage to Nipsey in a number of ways since his passing. Aside from the murals, several rappers have gotten tattoos in honor of the Crenshaw rapper. On April 12, the Los Angeles intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and West Slauson Avenue was officially re-named to Nipsey Hussle Square. Most recently, Nipsey's tour manager named his newborn son after his former client.
