Now that COVID-19 vaccines are becoming more available, Americans are finally breathing a (small) sigh of relief. As of Monday, March, 29, everyone 16 and older in the state of Louisiana is eligible to get vaccinated against COVID-19. So that means that some things that have been unavailable to us for over a year might be in our sights very soon. We're talking about actually going to festivals, live concerts, church services, and gyms again.

But if you're like a lot of folks, you're a little bit nervous about being in a crowd again. And if you've gotten the vaccine already, you want to make sure you have a way to prove that in case it becomes necessary. And honestly, there's a lot of chatter out there that says that might become a reality in the very near future. Already some major sports arenas, cruise lines, and airlines are requiring you to show that you have been vaccinated. And some businesses, Like Krispy Kreme, are even giving incentives for those who have been vaccinated.

Millions of Americans are now carrying around their paper vaccine cards (me included), and the folks at Office Depot and Staples want to help you out with keeping your card safe. The two office supply retail giants are now offering to laminate your vaccine card for free. Office Depot's offer will end in July, and you must bring your card to stores to get it laminated. Be sure to check with your local store to see if they are offering the free service before you go in.
