This is what I like to call 'Hometown Love.'

Louisiana was well represented at the 2019 Grammy Awards and PJ Morton was one of the artists who brought home the hardware to the boot state. Upon his arrival back into his hometown of New Orleans, PJ was greeted in pure local fashion.

As Morton made his way down the escalator a full brass band was waiting to greet him NOLA style. The Maroon 5 keyboardist and singer/songwriter had nothing but love for those who greeted him on Instagram.

HOMETOWN LOVE!! ⚜️❤️⚜️ This is how they welcomed me home last night .. Only ONE New Orleans man! No place like it! #GRAMMYS shout out to @kev2cent & @theeidol for putting it together!

Morton tied with Leon Bridges for Best Traditional R&B performance for his song 'How Deep Is Your Love.' PJ was also one of the three Louisiana artists to bring a Grammy back to the boot state along with Buddy Guy and Lafayette's own Lauren Daigle.
