Plane Clips SUV While Attempting To Land At A Texas Airport [VIDEO]

I never really understood why some airports are so close to roadways, and maybe this helps explain my reasoning. Watch what happens to this SUV as it cruises by a runway while a small engine plane prepares for touch down.

This accident happened at the Northwest Regional Airport in Roanoke, Texas. The Department of Public Safety says both people in the SUV suffered non-life threatening injuries in the accident at Northwest Regional Airport. The pilot wasn't hurt in the crash landing at the airport near Roanoke.

The person filming the video is the wife of the pilot, and she was taping his landing as he approached the runway. I can't imagine how scary this must have been for her.
