A very scary scene unfolded early Tuesday morning in south Louisiana.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office reports that some of their deputies were involved in a chase Tuesday morning, and it involved an old school bus.

According to their post on Facebook, workers at a gas station in Mandeville called the police Tuesday morning after a woman entered the store with a blow torch.

She was reportedly looking for the Department of Children and Family Services and that didn't sit well with the employees.

The woman, who is from Florida, left the store and got into an older school bus, that is no longer in operation, and employees were able to identify the bus to the police.

Shortly after, they located the school bus that has various markings on it and the chase began. It ultimately ended when the woman crashed the bus into the fence of a school, St. Scholastica School in downtown Covington.

The woman, who police believe may have been living in the bus, was taken into custody and could face felony charges.

There were no injuries reported in this chase and crash at the school.

We'll continue to follow this developing story.
