Lafayette Pharmacy Establishes Educational Fund for Children of April Rollins

In a heartfelt tribute to a valued employee who tragically lost her life, Professional Arts Pharmacy has announced the creation of an educational trust to benefit the three sons of April Rollins, who was fatally shot last Sunday in Broussard.

April Rollins, who had been a vital part of the Professional Arts Pharmacy team since March 2017, was a key supervisor in the Specialty Pharmacy department. Known for her dedication and expertise, April's influence extended far beyond her professional role, touching lives through her commitment to patient care and her deep involvement in her community.

"April's sudden departure leaves a void in our hearts and our organization," stated a post from her employer. April was celebrated for her leadership qualities, her nurturing spirit, and her commitment to excellence, both at work and in her personal life. She was particularly passionate about supporting her sons' sporting and educational activities, always pushing them to achieve their best.

In memory of April's impactful life and to continue her legacy of supporting her sons, Professional Arts Pharmacy has established three 529 Educational Savings plans, one for each of her children. The initiative aims to ensure that her children will have the educational opportunities their mother always wanted for them.
