Pusha-T has a new album on the way.

The G.O.O.D Music rapper chopped it up with Ebro Darden on his Beats 1 radio show on Wednesday (Aug. 28), and confirmed that his latest project is being readied for release.

“That's what I'm in here now cooking up, right now, so that's what I'm going for," Push told Ebro. "I feel like I'm well on my way. I got some really, really hot.”

Push revealed he is nine songs deep into the album, which is produced entirely by Kanye West so far. Blowbama also confirmed the project will be coming out before the end of the year.

Both the Lauryn Hill-assisted "Coming Home" and the Kash Doll-assisted "Sociopath," which were released on Wednesday and Tuesday (Aug. 27) respectively, will appear on the album. During the interview, Push spoke on how both collaborations came about.

"I just made the request. She expressed that she likes my music, and she'd see about it," Push said of working with Lauryn on the record, which addresses mass incarceration. "I definitely followed the queen around every... Whatever it took, and it was super important to me when she showed interest. It was just super important to me to definitely have her on it. Lauryn, her discography, it means everything. It's insane, so this wasn't about ever rushing or being on a time limit. It was just about getting the song done right and to both of our liking.”

The Virginia rapper also touched on the importance of the track on Twitter.

"This is way more than a song, it’s a movement!" he posted. "We are doing everything in our power to bring home men and women trapped behind the wall due to an outdated 3 strikes drug law."

As for Kash Doll, Push explained that he actually had the song in his possession for a while but just needed the right fit for a feature.

“I had the 'Sociopath' record for a minute. I wanted a female on the record who I felt could really execute how I wanted her to execute, execute really sharp," he explained. "Kash Doll to me represents a era of female hip hop in which the lyricism is top notch. It's super sharp. It's competitive with the guys. And she represents that to me, so I thought she would execute, and she definitely did."

Push has appeared on a handful of features already in 2019 and he clearly plans to close it out with even more music of his own.
