R. Kelly Gets Blasted Again by Alleged Victim’s Father: ‘It’s Almost Like Slavery’ [WATCH]
Unless you've banned all media this week, then you've heard about R. Kelly being accused of running a sex cult, and so far he's been blasted by one of the alleged victim's father Timothy Savage.
Earlier this week Timothy spoke at a press conference and said he hadn't spoken to his daughter Jocelyn in years, and that Kelly was keeping her holed up in an unspecified location.
But shortly after that press conference, Jocelyn released a video and begged her dad to stop making such a fuss. She also accused him of introducing her to the R&B star in the first place.
"I would like to direct this message to my family but especially my dad," she said in the clip. "Dad, you know everything that's going on with the media and the Internet ... You need to stop ... You are embarrassing me and the whole entire family. I am happy where I'm at and the people I'm around."
But while speaking to TMZ, Timothy denied that he introduced his daughter to Kelly and accused the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer of breaking the law.
"That never happened," he said about linking Jocelyn up with the 50-year-old. "I don't know if she got that from R. Kelly ... It's not about being a consenting adult. Some of these girls he met when [they were] seventeen. It's the abuse we're talking about. It's almost like slavery."
Since Timothy gave that initial press conference, he's dared Kelly to sue him, but the singer hasn't responded, nor has he addressed any of the allegations. In addition, a petition was launched to get Kelly dropped from his label Sony Music, which recently had over 20,000 signatures.
Where all of this will go from here is yet to be determined but you can see Timothy's latest video on the matter above.
