Reporter Shot At While Covering Homicide [VIDEO]

WVVA reporter Annie Moore is used to being in the middle of all of the action in her line of work, but things got a little too close for comfort when she was shot at while covering a homicide.

Moore was out gathering video at an apartment complex where a body was found over the weekend, when someone driving by fired a shot at her while she was recording footage for her story.

Annie says she literally felt the bullet whiz by her ear as she dove for cover in the station vehicle!

Luckily she captured the suspect vehicle on camera as it drove by and now police are using the tape to find the people involved in the shooting. Authorities and nearby witnesses have confirmed that it was indeed a gun shot that allegedly came from what seems to be an older model Ford pickup truck.

Thankfully, Annie Moore came away unharmed and we hope police can bring those responsible to justice.
