The NFL strikes again!

The NFL has very strict rules when it comes to wearing sports apparel from other companies that are not sponsored by the league. That's why the NFL asked Washington Redskins quarterback RG3 to turn his shirt inside out.

The shirt he was wearing had  "Know Jesus Know Peace" on the front. When it was time for RG3 to step to the podium for a press conference he had turned his shirt inside out, and of course that will set the internet on fire because of it.

The shirt comes from a company called 'Not Of This World' and the shirt retails for $22 on their website.

A lot of people complaining, are saying that this is about religious belief and not about NIKE or Adidas, and that it was wrong for the NFL to make him turn his shirt inside out. It's not like Drew Brees' suits are NFL licensed.

But, to the NFL's defense, players sign a contract stating they can't wear certain things  unless NFL approves it. The NFL makes it pretty clear in their rules:

"Players are prohibited from wearing, displaying, or orally promoting equipment, apparel, or other items that carry commercial names or logos/identifications of companies."

With all that said RG3 was already fined 10 G's last year for the same thing and with his injury he probably didn't want to pay another fine.
