Rick Ross, Young Thug and Wale Get Together for “Trap Trap Trap” Video
Rick Ross just dropped his ninth studio album Rather You Than Me and the Bawse is wasting no time dropping videos for it.
Ricky Rozay recruited Young Thug and Wale to drop the video for "Trap Trap Trap." The Ryan Snyder-directed flick shows the trio driving through Miami and turning up among flames (Thugger chilling on top of a cop car is a nice touch). Ross, Thug and Wale each add their own spin to Renzel's booming production, and the MMG head is definitely in his bag.
"Like Carol City one state, niggas hate on my sound/'Til I went the first round/Then I earn the Lombardi/Ain't no fuck boys allowed/Only fuck if she exclusive/Her favorite rapper Lil Boosie/To tell the truth I didn't ask/When it come to bitches I'm Gucci," spits Ross in the first verse.
Ross' new album Rather You Than Me is gaining plenty of attention right now, in part because the rapper's using it to air out his feelings about some big names in the industry. He outright disses Birdman by name on "Idols Become Rivals" and rapped throws shade at Nicki Minaj on LP intro "Apple of My Eye." As his album rollout continues, play close attention to the industry's reaction to Ross' unabashed bars.
