Robin Thicke Is Going to Be a Dad Again; Ends Custody War With Paula Patton
Robin Thicke will be a father once again. The R&B singer will be expecting his first child with girlfriend April Love Geary, reports TMZ. His ladylove, who is 22 years old, went on her Instagram account to share the good news with a photo of a sonogram.
"Robin and I are very excited to share with you all that we're having a baby! The due date is March 1st, Alan's birthday," she wrote in the photo’s caption.
Interestingly, the baby’s arrival is set for March 1, which is the birthday of the singer’s late father, Alan Thicke, who died last December of a heart attack at age 69. Thicke, who is 40 years old, is already a father to a 7-year-old son, Julian, whom he had with his ex-wife, actress Paula Patton.
Speaking of Paula Patton, Thicke and his ex-wife have ended their heated custody war over their 7-year-old, Julian. According to TMZ, both parties have agreed to split time caring for the child.
Thicke will get Julian on Monday through Wednesday and Patton gets him Wednesday through Friday. They will alternate on the weekends. They have also came to agreement with a vacation and holiday schedule as well. Thicke and Patton agreed to share expenses, including fees for private school.
Overall, Robin Thicke received some good news this week. Congrats to Thicke as well as April Love Geary on being an expectant mother.
