After nearly a year, Ronda Rousey is set to make her return to the octagon!

Rousey is set to fight current Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 on December 30th in Las Vegas.

UFC President Dana White made the announcement earlier today on "The Herd" on FS1.

By the time the fight rolls around it will have been over a year since Rousey suffered a shocking defeat (her first in her professional career) to Holly Holm on November 14th, 2015.

Amanda Nunes will defend her title for the first time since winning the belt after submitting Meisha Tate in the first round at UFC 200. Nunes has been talking about wanting to fight Rousey ever since. Dare we say, "be careful what you wish for!"?

Nunes vs. Rousey will headline UFC 207. More fights are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
