The New Orleans Saints have reportedly activated one of their special team's players off of injured reserve in the form of Tommylee Lewis and cut offensive lineman Chaz Green.

Tommylee Lewis landed on IR in mid-September with a knee injury that he could not overcome and eventually had surgery and underwent treatment but now he's back and eligible to play Thursday against the Atlanta Falcons.

The biggest impact Lewis will have is on special teams as a kick returner and that'll save Alvin Kamara from taking unnecessary shots on said kick returns. He will also provide depth with Tre'Quan Smith banged up and uncertain to play Thursday.

As for Chaz Green, he was simply a reserve, a break glass in case of emergency type of player for the Saints. He was not active for any game in his short Saints career.
