The New Orleans Saints may be shopping for insurance for their offensive line.


Of the three, Newton, who played his college football at Arkansas St., is the best known.

A 7th-round selection by the Houston Texans in the 2011 NFL Draft, Newton played six seasons there (2011-2016), starting 68 games at right tackle, before being released in 2016 after knee injuries helped shorten his time there.

The 26-year old Wesley, who played his college football at California, played six games with the Baltimore Ravens in 2015, before spending time on the practice squads of the Ravens, Buffalo Bills, and Indianapolis Colts over the last three years.

The 25-year old Williams, who played his college football at Akron, was released from the Oakland Raiders' practice squad back in November.
