A New Orleans Saints' season-ticket holder is suing the organization.

The fan is asking for a refund of the money he paid for season tickets, plus attorneys' fees, because some players kneeled before the national anthem at home games and sat during the anthem in a Week 3 road game at Carolina..

Lee Dragna, claims in his lawsuit that he bought the tickets for the "entertainment and intellectual enjoyment" and that due to the actions of the players, along with the reactions of the fans, that the tickets lost their value.

Dragna claims in the suit, which accuses Saints owner Tom Benson and head coach Sean Payton of publicly condoning the practice, that he hasn't attended a game since Week 2, which would have been the home opener against the Patriots.

He claims that he never would have bought the tickets, had he known that the player would "use Saints football games as a platform for protests."

The Saints declined to comment, saying they had turned the matter over to their legal department.

Saints players and those from several other teams starting kneeling or sitting during the anthem shortly after President Donald Trump called on NFL owners to fire players who did not stand during the anthem, during a political rally in Alabama.
