The New Orleans Saints are back in action on Sunday afternoon, when they hit the road to take on the San Francisco 49ers, in a match-up of NFC foes.

Kickoff time at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California is scheduled for 3:05 pm, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420, as well as 97.3 The Dawg.

The 49ers lead the all-time series between the two franchises, 48-25-2, but the Saints have won three of the last four meetings, including a 27-24 overtime triumph back in 2014, in the last game between the two franchises.

New Orleans, who defeated the Seattle Seahawks, 25-20, last week, has won 3 of their last four games, and is 3-4 on the young season, while San Francisco, who was idle last week, will enter the match-up at 1-6.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 28.7 points-per-game, along with 415.0 total yards, including 326.9 passing yards, and 88.1 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 2,366 yards and 18 touchdowns, along with running back Mark Ingram, who has rushed for 339 yards and a touchdown, and receiver Michael Thomas, who has caught 42 passes for 500 yards and three touchdowns.

The 49ers, offensively, are averaging 20.6 points, 290.0 total yards, 161.4 passing yards, and 128.6 rushing yards a game this season.

San Francisco is paced by quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who has passed for 330 yards and two touchdowns, along with running back Carlos Hyde, who has rushed for 429 yards and six touchdowns, and receiver Jeremy Kerley, who has compiled 30 receptions for 331 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, the Saints are giving up an average of 397.4 yards-per-game, including 286.7 passing yards and 110.7 rushing yards, while the 49ers have allowed 407.6 total yards, including 222.4 passing yards and 185.1 rushing yards.
