Ahead of her first 2018 single, "Back to You" Selena Gomez has been teasing the song's lyrics on Instagram, and so far, they seem to heavily suggest the track is about Justin Bieber, her infamously on-again, off-again ex-flame.

Not only is it literally called "Back to You" — by now, she's gone "back to" him more times than it's worth counting — but the words hint at the sort of forbidden romance she and Bieber keep fruitlessly reviving.

"I want to hold you when I'm not supposed to," reads the first post, shared on Friday (May 4), while the second, posted on Monday (May 7), is captioned: "You’re stuck in my head and I can’t get you out of it," alongside a photo overlaid with "If I could do it again."

Like, come on! Bieber is the only person Gomez has been romantically linked to repeatedly over the years, and they reunited as recently as this year. It's quite obvious he's still fresh on her mind, even if they've called it quits for the 100th time.

Unless Gomez has been secretly harboring some other make-up, breakup relationship, it pretty much couldn't be about anyone else, right? Sure, it was written for 13 Reasons Why's Season 2 soundtrack, for which Gomez is an executive producer, but the fact that it just so happens to mirror her personal life feels more than coincidental.

"Back to You" doesn't arrive in its entirety until Thursday, but for now, call us officially convinced.
