Taking a page from Kanye West's playbook, rap newcomer Sheck Wes has gone on Twitter to air out his grievances with the music industry, his album and everything in between.

It appears the "Mo Bamba" star hasn't had too much aide from 'Ye—or anyone, for that matter—when it comes to his forthcoming debut LP, Mudboy. Today (Sept. 18), the rapper tweeted out, "I wish Kanye was more involved in my career. Idk wtf he getting into." Sheck went on to share how he recorded the album by himself and relished in the fact that he never lost hope throughout the process. "Man when Mudboy comes out then everything will make more sense," he said.

"Tbh though i stay away and isolate myself, I haven't linked your other fav people because I'm too genuine for fake friendships and relationships and someone wanting pc," he continued. He also mentioned that his 2017 track, "Fuck All Adults," is in fact a diss record. In regards to both the tweet and the song, it's unclear who exactly Sheck is referring to.

In related news, the Interscope signee, who reportedly signed with Travis Scott and Kanye West in conjunction with the label imprint, has been getting major looks due to his breakout hit. Sheck Wes came out to "Mo Bamba" in Toronto during a stop on the Aubrey and the Three Migos tour in August, and most recently performed the banger for Lebron James and his wife, Savannah, at their fifth wedding anniversary party last Friday (Sept. 14).

Catch him on stage with Travis, Gunna, Trippie Redd and Virgil Abloh this fall on the Astroworld: Wish You Were Here Tour. The first leg kicks off Nov. 8 in Baltimore.

Let's just hope the "Niggas Ain't Close" rhymer gets in contact with Kanye sooner than later. View all of his tweets below.
