Lafayette PD Investigating Shooting Near Northgate Mall, One Person Injured

Lafayette Police are investigating a shooting that took place last night near the Northgate Mall.

According to a report from our media partners at KATC, the shooting took place in a parking lot near the northside Planet Fitness location. My Hood Lit shared a live eyewitness video on Facebook after police arrived on the scene.

Lafayette PD says one person sustained "non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital."
