Shreveport Cancer Center Staff Flash Mobs 12-Year-Old Patient [Video]
Cancer. It's like a curse word and something no one wants to hear. The journey is long and extremely rough. However, when you have a medical staff that focuses not only on healing you, but making you happy, the journey can be incredible.
This is exactly what 12-year-old Sophia experienced in Shreveport at Willis-Knighton Proton Therapy Center. On her last day of treatment, the staff at the hospital surprised her with a flash mob to the popular hip-hop tune 'Watch Me' better known as the 'Nae Nae' song.
This warms my heart. No child should ever have to fight this fight and no parent should ever have to go through that heartache. However, Sophia has obviously made the best of her horrible situation.
It is because of fantastic doctors and nurses that memories like this can be made. Happy Saturday Dawgs!
