The Slidell Police Department partially wrapped one its cruisers pink for "Breast Cancer Awareness Month."

The unit is being put in different locations throughout the city and citizens can sign the car after making a small donation.

The proceeds are going to a local Slidell Memorial Hospital Cancer Center.

A non-profit organization in Slidell covered the cost of wrapping the unit and Tommy St. Clair of a decal company donated his time to put in the work.

I always love when people or organizations "think outside the box" and the Slidell Police Dept. hit a grand slam with this fundraiser. So, if you or someone you know lives in the area, be on the lookout for the pink police cruiser and help fight breast cancer.

Here are just a few photos of citizens signing the police unit in Slidell.
