Snoop Dogg has never been known for his dance moves, but considering the amount of career transformations he's gone through his next reiteration could be as a cast member on Dancing With the Stars. While backstage at New York City's famed Metropolitan Opera House, the Doggfather ran into actor Alfonso Ribeiro, a.k.a Carlton Banks from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Before long, Ribeiro was teaching Snoop how to do the "Carlton Dance," a move that has remained a pop culture staple even though the final episode of Fresh Prince aired 20 years ago next month. It didn't take long for the Doggystyle rapper to pick up on the move. Now all he has to do is learn the famous "Jump on It" dance and he'll be good to go.

"See, you can teach an old dog a new trick if you're willing to listen," said Snoop with a laugh.

Snoop's dance moves will only serve as ammo for the upcoming All Def Roast event that will make the rapper the butt of jokes for a night. Presented by All Def Digital and Snoop's own Merry Jane cannabis culture venture.

“Over the years, I have roasted several entertainers and friends and now it’s my turn to be in the hot seat,” the rapper told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’ve got mad love for what Russell has done with All Def Digital and am looking forward to seeing what ADD and Merry Jane have up their sleeves for my roast. And as they say, ‘if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.”

Be on the lookout for more on the All Deff Digital comedy roast soon.
