Structure Fire In Lafayette Early This Morning

A person passing by a building on East Pont Des Mouton called in a fire at that structure just after 1:30 this morning.

When firefighters got the scene, they saw flames coming from the structure.

Lafayette Fire Department Spokesman Alton Trahan says that it only took them about fifteen minutes to put out this fire.

The building was last occupied by a business called Children's Boutique at Doll World.

The place was heavily damaged by smoke and fire.
