Nipsey Hussle has been laid to rest. However, the conversation surrounding his death will continue to rage on as people debate over whether he should have continued to operate in the hood. Incarcerated former hip-hop mogul Suge Knight is well aware of the hood politics that go on in Los Angeles. He believes Nip was loyal to a fault.

On Saturday (April 13), TMZ posted a story where they talked to Suge from behind bars where he is serving out a 28-year sentence for the 2015 murder of Terry Carter. He thinks Nipsey's affinity for staying in and continuing to help the rough and tumble neighborhood he grew up in was part of his downfall.

"A lot of artists like Nipsey have the same problem that I had," Suge said. "We are too loyal to our neighborhood."

The former Death Row owner believes there is a sliver lining to the Nipsey tragedy. "What's good is that all the hoods getting together now ... we can be stronger considering what happens when we come together."

Nipsey was shot and killed on March 31 outside of his The Marathon Clothing store in L.A. His funeral service took place on Thursday (April 11) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The event was attended by over 20,000 people and featured kind words from Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, President Obama, Jay-Z and more.

On Friday (April 12), the L.A. intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and West Slauson Avenue was officially renamed Nipsey Hussle Square.
